Kunst am Wegesrand – Ostfildern

Abstract oil paintings reflect the essence of the concepts, performances, and video works of “Kunst am Wegesrand” (“Art by the Wayside”) and are created simultaneously over a period of several months. This cycle of works, which the artist Anette C. Halm has been creating since 2008, is called “Thinking About Video Art”.

In 2022, Halm developed the series “Thinking About Video Art, The Cut”. Here she cuts small 30 cm x 30 cm paintings from the large paintings and rearranges them, similar to video editing, on a “timeline”.
