Contemporary art can inspire, stir up emotions, and ignite a spark in each and every one of us. The project “Kunst am Wegesrand” (“Art by the Wayside”) presents a wonderful opportunity to collect these experiences and bring them to life in both real and digital ways. Through simple information boards and an app, all open-minded and art-interested walkers in the participating cities are given almost unrestricted access. This provides a unique way of engaging with contemporary artists as well as the specific city in which their site-specific works are created.
The project is curated by conceptual and video artist Anette C. Halm. The app was designed and developed by GOGU Digital.
